Kubuntu is the Ubuntu variant that comes with the KDE desktop. The latest release, codenamed Mantic Minotaur, ships with KDE 5.27. The Kubuntu team says the Kubuntu 5.27 release "brings massive improvements to the desktop and all its tools." Plasma comes with a new configuration wizard, as well as "a window tiling system, a more stylish app theme, cleaner and more usable tools, and widgets that give you more control over your machine."
