Kali Linux 2025.3 Released with New Hacking Tools

Sep 25, 2025

If you're a Kali Linux fan, you'll be glad to know that the third release of this famous pen-testing distribution is now available with updates for key components.

Kali Linux 2025.3 adds 10 new hacking tools, several updates to Kali NetHunter, and beefs up support for Raspberry Pi devices.

One of the more important additions to Kali Linux 2025.3 is the return of Nexmon support to enable monitor mode and advanced wireless capabilities to the Raspberry Pi 5. With this new addition, you'll be able to sniff wireless packets and inject custom raw packets to assist with wireless security audits and assessments.

This release also marks a change in how Kali Linux's Vagrant packages are built. The Vagrant images are no longer generated with Packer. Instead, modifications to the images are now part of the virtual machine build scripts, and those scripts have also been upgraded to the Packer 2.0 standards.

As far as the new hacking tools are concerned, you get Caido and Caido CLI, Gemini CLI, krbrelayx, ligolo-mp, llm-tools-nmap, mcp-kali-server, patchleaks, and vwifi-dkms.

As mentioned earlier, Kali NetHunter (for mobile devices) was given a significant refresh with support for the Samsung Galaxy S10, and the CARsenal car-hacking suite has been given some serious love.
