MeeGo 1.1 Update 1 Released

Announced today, update 1 for MeeGo 1.1 is now available.

The announcement, posted to the MeeGo Announce mailing list notes that update 1 is for MeeGo 1.1 Core Software Platform, Netbook UX, and the In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) UX project release.

According to the announcement update 1 includes better IVI support in the kernel, Russian keyboard enabled, supported MSN protocol changes, resolved several netbook status panel issues, and Resolved several dialer issues for IVI.

A full list of bug fixes for Core OS, Netbook, and IVI projects can be found on the release update pages.

The announcement encourages users to post request for addition information or questions to the MeeGo Forums.
