Tibesti: Screencasts the Easy Way

Productivity Sauce
Thanks to Tibesti, creating screencasts doesn't have to be a chore. This tiny utility lets you record desktop activity with a minimum of effort. Installing Tibesti on Ubuntu is a simple three-command affair:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ackondro/tibesti sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install tibesti
Tibesti is designed to be as straightforward in use as possible. The main window provides access to the most important settings, including output format, quality, and recording mode. In addition to OGG, Tibesti supports the WebM, AVI, and H.264 formats, and the utility can capture both video and audio.
The Options window lets you configure the tool's options. Here you can enable or disable audio recording, separate audio and video streams, and enable cursor recoding. Once Tibesti is configured, recording a screencast is as easy as hitting the Start Recording button. When you are finished recording, press Stop Recording, save the screencast, and you are done. It couldn't be easier than that.

No thanks. I expect a few dependencies for a tool like this, but not 33.
