Sorting through the array of note-taking tools and their features can be overwhelming. We look at two applications that offer a simple approach.

Note-taking tools are staples of productivity, which probably explains the cornucopia of Linux software for taking and managing notes. But, besides popular applications like Tomboy and BasKet Note Pads, many other lesser known and quirky note-taking tools are waiting to be discovered. These options include QuickNote and Geeknote, which offer slightly different approaches to working with notes.
