This month's DVD
Kubuntu 12.04 LTS
This month's DVD comes with Kubutu 12.04 LTS.
The Kubuntu project brings the popular KDE desktop to Ubuntu Linux. Because Kubuntu 12.04 is a Long Term Service (LTS) edition, Ubuntu promises continuous support for 5 years. The latest Kubuntu includes KDE’s Plasma 4.8 desktop and comes with a much-improved Amarok music player, as well as enhancements to the Software Center and the Muon update tool. Kubuntu 12.04 runs on the Linux 3.2 kernel and ships with the Calligra office suite. The new Telepathy messaging tool offers easy access to instant messaging and social networking environments.
