ApacheCon 2011: Call For Papers Ends Friday
The Call for Papers (CFP) for ApacheCon 2011 ends this Friday, April 29 and event organizers are encouraging those from outside the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) to submit proposals.
ApacheCon—official conference, trainings, and expo of the ASF—offers many technical, business, and community-focused sessions, which are suitable for all skill levels, and this year will take place on November 6-11 at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, Canada.
This year's ApacheCon theme is "Open Source Enterprise Solutions, Cloud Computing, and Community Leadership" and developers as well as users are encouraged to submit proposals. The ASF asks that proposals highlight the use of specific Apache solutions in areas such as enterprise solutions, cloud computing, community leadership, and pervasive computing.
Individuals who want to submit a proposal should do so no later than midnight Pacific Time on Friday, April 29, 2011.
