Arch Linux is among the best-known rolling distributions. Instead of making general releases like Debian does, Arch Linux releases updates to each package as they are ready. Its 2025.02.01 edition is not a general release, but simply a snapshot of the distribution's state on the day of the release. As such, its release notes do not contain information about individual packages. Rather, the snapshot is made available for the convenience of those making new installations. The first thing users should do after installation is immediately update the entire system because there are sure to be updates.
