Record Breaking Talk Submissions PyCon 2011

PyCon 2011 will be held March 9-17 at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, Georgia. PyCon is broken down into 3 parts: Tutorials on March 9-10, Main Conference on the 11-13 and Development Sprints to be held in the 14-17.
Having received over 250 talk and tutorial submission for PyCon 2011 the schedule for talks and tutorials are now in place and the poster section of the event has doubled in size from 17 last year to 34 this year. PyCon keynote speakers include Hilary Mason, Guido van Rossum, Rian Hunter, David Cramer, Jason Yan, Chris McAvoy, and Andy Smith. For those wishing to attend PyCon 2011 registration is now open.
What is PyCon? According to the PyCon Blog the event is presented by the Python Software Foundation and sponsored by Google and is the world’s largest Python conference that brings together a diverse group of developers, enthusiasts, and organizations to explore new challenges, launch new businesses and forge new connections within the Python community.
