Testing Mandriva Spring
French Linux specialist, Mandriva, has released version RC2 (codenamed Estephe) of their Linux 2009 Spring.
The final version is expected at the end of the month. Mandriva Linux 2009 Spring (2009.1) is due to appear April 29. 2009. The release will include the usual updates: 2.6.29 kernel, KDE 4.2.2 and Gnome 2.26. Ext 4 can be found in the file systems list, and version 2.1 of the visualization system, Virtualbox is also included.
Apart from a face lift, further changes are the inclusion of Speedboot, the improved security framework and much more. Have a preview in our gallery!
