SWsoft Grows in First Six Months of 2007
SWsoft, which produces the Virtuozzo virtualization software among other things, reports a 127 percent increase in turnover for the first 6 months of 2007 compared to the previous year's figures.
Growth in virtualization products is an enormous 312 percent according to a company spokesperson. This product group includes the Virtuozzo software for operating system level virtualization and the Virtual Machine Monitor (VMM) Parallels which SWsoft acquired in 2004.
The company refers to itself as the world's second biggest supplier of virtualization products, and the market leader in desktop virtualization with its Parallels products. The virtualization market segment has counted for 56 percent of the company's turnover in the past 3 months, says SWsoft. In addition to this SWsoft has a number of server and website management products in its portfolio including Plesk, Confoxx and Sitebuilder.
